Selling on behalf of Client. S.L Carriage Limited are please to present this lovely TVR Chimaera 4.5 Convertible 2dr Petrol Manual (285 bhp) 1998. First registered on the 18.06 1998, finished in stunning Aston Martin Malvern Blue, and only covered 97,903 miles.
Only 4 previous owners, with the current owner having owned it for over seven years. Maintained to a very high standard, all 15 inch alloy wheels have recently undergone a full restoration and come wrapped in new Toyo tyres. MOT until 07.04.2022. Plenty of service/maintenance history. New screen fitted by Taylor TVR Ltd, the beautiful cream and blue leather interior was professionally retrimmed in 2012 along with the addition of a new hood and targa. This work was carried out by D C Trim in Blackpool. Deep pile carpet, with a stunning looking dashboard which is finished in walnut burr veneer. Handbrake and gear lever are all part of a replacement set produced by Levan technology.
The only under bonnet modification on this vehicle is the addition of a 'high flow core' aluminium radiator which was supplied by ACT products. Shock absorbers have been upgraded to adjustable Nitrons.
The outriggers and seat belts have recently been replaced by Dan Taylor in Maidstone. A new heavy duty clutch supplied by TVR parts Ltd and fitted by Smiths Of London is also a recent addition.
This TVR rides and drives like new and has been a solid reliable car for the current owner who has driven it across Europe without issue.
Engine V8 4495 CC 4.5 litre, 285 h, 300lb ft torque at 4250rpm, top speed 158 MPH, 0-60 in 4.6 Seconds, 5 speed manual. Consumption 20 MPG.
